Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of PropTracker (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

PropTracker is a web application for tracking rental properties, income and expenses, real-estate activity hours, and related records. Features may change over time.

2. Not tax, legal, or financial advice

PropTracker helps you organize your own records. Any calculations it provides, including Real Estate Professional Status hour tests and tax summaries, are informational only and are not tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for your own filings. Consult a qualified professional before relying on any figure for a tax return or financial decision.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

• Paid plans are billed in advance for the term you select (monthly or a multi-month term). New accounts may include a free trial; if you do not subscribe by the end of the trial, access is paused until you do.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. We do not store your full card details.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the paid term.
• You can cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the paid term. Because terms are billed up front, we do not provide prorated refunds for partial terms. If you were charged in error, or something went wrong, contact us within 30 days and we will make it right.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the Service, or using it for unlawful purposes.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you enter. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service (such as storing and processing your data). Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation will be accurate for your situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PropTracker and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any tax, penalty, or loss arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or to comply with the law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept it.
